Yum yum yum! The house special banh was not meat shy. The bread and meat ratio was perfect! The bread is made in house and the didn't skimp on the pate... definitely going back!
It's in a newer remodeled/currently remodeling plaza where Hot stone pho is. I got the special baguette. Pretty good traditional banh mi with the pate $7. They also sell snacks like a really good chicken jerky for $10 and the have rice plates and spring rolls that are ready for purchase. Literally only 1 table in the shop so it's more of a take out place
Delicious sandwiches & great service. Friendly & quick service. I was greeted & the cashier gave me a hot cup of tea to warm up in this cold weather
I ordered the #11 special w/ the Vietnamese coffee. Such a great combo. The banh mi bread is soft, I love that because it won't scratch the roof of my mouth. Their coffee is creamy and strong. Definitely will come back.
Hue Thai Bakery & Deli is a no frills yet no nonsense banh mi shop. At this cash only spot, you order at the counter, wait for a bit, and grab your food to go. You will be rewarded with some of the best banh mi sandwiches around. Dac Biet Banh Mi: The house special is a flavorful assortment of sliced ham, pork sausage, and head cheese cold cuts. The julienned pickled carrots and daikon, jalapenos, and cilantro balance the meat well. The blend of pate and mayo packs a powerful punch of flavor. Yet, it is the freshly baked baguette that really seals the deal with its perfect crispy and chewy texture. Parking: This strip mall has a decent parking lot.
A gem! This place is affordable, close to home, & delicious. The service was quick. The bread was as fresh as I've ever had and the ingredients were all flavorful & proportionate. It's in a random strip mall so I've never noticed it until now but I'll be back... probably this week .
The woman working the counter took my order quickly and helped me decide between the baguette or roll. I opted for the BBQ Pork on baguette and I'm so glad I did. The bread was still warm, light, and crusty. There was a bit more mayo than I would have liked but the meat was flavorful and tender, the veggies were fresh, the jalapenos weren't too spicy, and the herbs added brightness. I also got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and all together it was a great lunch to kick-start my Palm Springs getaway. It is cash only so be prepared, but the prices are very reasonable! There is only one indoor table for seating so you will likely want to plan to eat your sandwiches elsewhere. (I ate mine in my car.) They also offer a selection of fresh breads to go and were doing a bustling trade in the short time I was there.

As usual, their coffee is the best. For some reason they identify it as "espresso ". Totally wrong. It's much much better. It's Vietnamese coffee and should be proudly so identified. Also has #2, grilled pork with lemongrass. wOW. Excellent. Service was great. Even was offered the Veges on the side. Pls go and enjoy
